Viewing a Student Profile

Explore a student’s detailed information in SpotLight, including profile details, family relations, club enrollments, and academic performance.

The Student Profile page provides a comprehensive view of a student’s data integrated across your school systems. Here, you can see personal details, family connections, extracurricular involvement, and academic results. All data is read-only; edits should be made in the source platforms such as ManageBac+, OpenApply, or SchoolsBuddy.

Student Profile Details

Key information about the student is displayed at the top of the page:

• Name: Full name from ManageBac+.
• Email: School-registered email address.
• Grade: Current grade level.
• Homeroom Advisor: Assigned advisor or teacher.

These details provide a quick reference to the student’s essential profile information. If there are any flags or recommendations, these will also be highlighted here

Student Relations

The Student Relations section shows linked family members such as parents or guardians, sourced from OpenApply:

• Relationship: Parent, Guardian, or other connection.
• Name and Email: Contact information.
• Phone: Primary contact number.
• Language and Nationality: As recorded in OpenApply.

Club Enrollments

The Club Enrollments section lists extracurricular activities a student is enrolled in, sourced from SchoolsBuddy. Each entry shows:

• Club or Activity Name
• Dates or Term

Grades Over Time

Academic performance is visualized in the Grades Over Time chart and the Grade Data Table, filtered for this student only. The left-hand panel allows further filtering by:

• Academic Year
• Subject
• Grade Type

Charts and tables can be exported or downloaded for reporting purposes.
